It’s difficult to believe that time 2 of The Last of Us is about to stop. The movie game version has delivered one heart-pounding time after another, demonstrating that there is still room for post-apocalyptic programming on television.
The Last of Us returned with a five-year time jump and reviewed the relationship to see if Joel ( Pedro Pascal ) and Ellie ( Bella Ramsey ) have remained calm in the face of the storm. Let’s just say issues got complicated. Although there are many things that can happen in a half a century, preventing the Cordyceps influenza is not one of them. America’s environment is now even more savage because the infection has only just begun to spread and change.
The Last of Us ‘ time doesn’t hit the beats of the first video game content. During a virtual press conference for the set, which CNET attended, writer, director, and professional developer Neil Druckmann discussed the reasons for this creative decision.  ,
The second reason is emotion. To alter the tale structure to create stakes for the crowd, it was necessary to develop an emotional relationship with some characters and their storylines. When you’re stepping into a writer’s trainers while playing the game, that relationship comes more naturally.
Another factor is schedule. People would have to wait a really, very long time to access that context, according to Druckmann, if we were to stick to a very similar timeframe. Perspective is important, and by all transactions, this approach is successful. In addition, HBO renewed The Last of Us for a second time just weeks before the season 2 launch.
