AcasăInteligența artificială și învățarea automatăAs an iPad Mini Owner, I'm Not Looking Forward to Apple's New...

Ca proprietar de iPad Mini, nu aștept cu nerăbdare noul sistem de ferestre de la Apple. Iată de ce

Apple has a new way to organize and move windows on your iPad. With iOS 26, you can resize apps into windows wherever you want, including to the edge of your screen. But I’m not sure this will be much of a game-changer for iPad Mini users like me who are working with limited real estate.

Apple debuted its new windowing system at its WWDC 2025 keynote on Monday. The ability to have all of your windows open and available with a swipe sounds convenient, especially when multitasking.

But I’m curious to see how this will actually play out for fellow iPad Mini users on a smaller screen.

My 6th generation iPad Mini measures about eight inches tall and around five inches wide, which isn’t that much room to work with. Sure, I’ll be able to see all of my windows, but I won’t have as much space to play with as someone with a bigger iPad. I’m worried the windows update will feel cluttered and more frustrating on such a small screen.

Personally, I’d much rather continue to click on the apps I need from my Home screen. We’ll have to wait and see, but I’m not yet convinced this’ll be a feature I’ll enjoy using.
