Google is rolling out improvements to ChromeOS and a new flagship computer to display them, the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14. Hot on the heels of Google I/O, the company’s monthly designer event. The fresh Chromebook Plus has some amazing features for a$ 650 computer and is designed to help take advantage of AI technology like , Gemini, and NotebookLM.
There are Chromebooks among the best devices currently on the market, not only dirt-cheap and straightforward devices for the complete necessities. When I finish testing this fresh Lenovo, I have no doubt that it will be a part of them.
About the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14
Although Lenovo’s most recent Chromebook Plus has the appearance and feel of a premium computer, it will cost just$ 650 when it ships in late June. More RAM, thrice the storeroom, and a touch are all available for an additional$ 100. Google claims that this is the first Chromebook Plus to use the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra chip and the first to work on an Shoulder device. That should not only provide it with strong AI performance but also an amazing battery life of up to 17 hrs.  ,

Additionally, the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 may have two special on-device AI capabilities. Smart gathering uses AI to organize your most recent available tabs and documents into logical groups. For instance, if you’re organizing or organizing a trip, it’ll be able to indicate a list of all the pertinent data you have available.  ,
Image editing directly from the Gallery software is another unique feature. It’ll include sophisticated AI features, such as adding stickers or removing backgrounds.  ,
ChromeOS AI upgrades
Google also made new features available for Chromebook Plus types starting today. The addition of limited to research and text capture is what I find to be the most beneficial. You’ll be able to show a picture or text and receive quick Google search results, just like Circle to Research. Similar to importing information into Google Workspace programs or calendars, word get can be used.  ,
The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Plus‘s Quick Insert major, which first appeared next year, enables quick access to cultural writing assistance. You’ll be able to identify text right away and create AI images based on it. For instance, I highlighted the words in an email about a Fourth of July cookout and it produced a brochure for the occasion ( packed with errors, but nevertheless ).  ,
Every Chromebook Plus will come with NotebookLM, which is another significant contrast. It’s an AI tool that you drink difficult elements like research documents and make things simpler. The data you’ve given it is what you can use to ask it questions, like a robot, but the answers are only provided by you. It has the potential to produce a radio.  ,
One month of Google’s AI Pro plan, which truly lets you dive into Google Gemini AI, including its Veo 3 Artificial video engine, is included in every Chromebook Plus. Just don’t become too attached until the first year is over, unless you’re willing to pay$ 240.  ,
