One of the simplest ways to communicate with friends and family is via chatting, and you can always apply an&nbsp, icon if you can’t find the right words to use in a word. However, you might find some of the iPhone’s messaging capabilities to be incredibly annoying. Autocorrect and forecast chatting are two of the biggest culprits.

Predicted texting makes it simple to write a whole message in a few clicks, and autocorrect can reduce the number of typos you’re typing. However, when I employ these attributes, I frequently find myself correcting terms that don’t mean to be corrected or suggesting thoughts that I don’t want to use. Additionally, another people find autocorrect and predictive text to be extremely annoying. Sadly, these features can be disabled quickly in a few simple steps.

Here’s how to create messaging simpler by turning off some of the communication options on your iPhone.

Turn off forecast text line

Inline forecast text&nbsp, which was introduced in iOS 17, is similar to predicted text but displays the suggested wording in the messaging field in light grey. Inline predicted text&nbsp, according to Apple, is meant to determine what you’re going to form, and if you hit area, the predicted words may be added to your wording. Because the characteristic doesn’t usually accurately predict what you were typing, you might include the incorrect word to your information if you hit area. If you’re trying to read what you’re writing in real time, the white text might likewise distract you.

Here’s how to turn off insert predicted words if you don’t like it.

1. Activate your Options.
2. Tap General.
3. Tap Keyboard.
4. Tap the switch next to Show Predictions Inline.
