Fortnite, a highly-anticipated online&nbsp activity, has received a rejection from Apple as editor of its iOS App Store.

Epic Games stated in a blog on X on Friday that” Apple has blocked our Fortnite distribution so we can’t transfer to the US App Store or the Epic Games Store for iOS in the European Union.” Unfortunately, Fortnite on iOS may remain online international until Apple unblocks it.

The most recent legal saga pitting the match publication against the biggest tech company in the world over App Store fees is blocking the sport on iOS. A judge recently found that Apple has been disobeying a 2021 order that prohibits it from preventing inside links for in-app purchases and subscriptions in mobile apps. In response to that ruling, publishers like Epic and Spotify were able to resend apps with methods for users to access subscriptions and purchases without using the App Store, where Apple receives a cut. &nbsp,

The match was supposed to make a comeback to the iOS App Store this month, but the visible refusal means that’s not likely to happen.

A rep for Apple did not respond to a request for comment on the distribution.

Users can access a webpage that already reads” The Epic Games Store on phone is only available for consumers in the European Union” by scanning a QR code to obtain the activity on an phone.

Epic was able to release its Epic Game Store for iphone in that area because of regulatory disagreements and EU legal precedents, and Fortnite users could get it through that app. Because the Fortnite release has to be used across all iphone devices, that is no longer the case. &nbsp,
