Fans will be able to pick up a number of new names on Netflix this month, including some action-packed copies and a number of intriguing films. Taraji P. Henson stars in Tyler Perry’s most recent classic for the streamer, Straw, as a woman who is so desperate she will do anything to preserve her sick daughter. Test out Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy, an in-depth analysis of the 2021 horror that left 10 attendees dying in Houston, for a prescription of real-life drama.
A number of Alfred Hitchcock movies, including classics like Vertigo and Rear Window, are included in the acquired list of Netflix movies that also came in this quarter. The channel is even making its first appearance in a number of Hitchcock-inspired movies, including Jordan Peele’s Us and the 2022 movie Barbarian.

Rear Window and more ( June 1 )
You’ll get a sizable selection of some of Alfred Hitchcock’s most well-known films among Netflix’s recently acquired collection movies this quarter. The Animals, Vertigo, The Man Who Knew To Little, Frenzy, and Rear Window, a James Stewart-Grace Kelly classic, are among the new releases. ( Psycho, another Hitchcock classic, is already accessible on the platform. ) The filmmaker’s own Hitchcock-starring 2012 tale film, Hitchcock, will also be included in Sacha Gervasi’s Sacha Gervasi set.
Barbarian ( June 1 )
Barbarian, a 2022 film starring writer-director Zach Cregger, is a beautifully twisted horror film about the drawbacks of short-term rentals. When it turns out they were double-booked on a housing rental site, Tess ( Georgina Campbell ) and Keith ( Bill Skarsgard ) meet and decide to both stay in their rental homes together. However, Tess doesn’t need to worry about Keith; instead, Tess discovers a dark room and everything ( or someone ) residing there. This is when the horror begins. On June 1, the movie will be available on Netflix.
Jordan Peele’s new career has veered a little far from the sketch comedy scene he started in, and his 2019 movie Us is one of several outstanding mental movies he’s written and directed that pay tribute to legends like Alfred Hitchcock and The Twilight Zone. Lupita Nyong’o portrays Adelaide, a lady whose family is haunted by strange doppelgängers known as the Tethered, equivalent lookalikes who terrorize them in a cold quest to take their souls. The movie is released on Netflix on June 1.
K. O. ( June 6 )
European MMA fighter and professional Cyril Gane is directing K. O., a Netflix action movie that makes use of his broad martial arts training after a encouraging role in Den of Thieves: Pantera. Bastien plays a former MMA fighter who ended up living alone after inadvertently killing a foe, Enzo, during a fight. His wife locates Bastien to assist in the search of the young child whose life is in danger when Enzo’s teenage son vanishes.

Taraji P. Henson plays a person who is pushed to the precipice in Tyler Perry’s most recent movie, Straw. Jennifer portrays Janiyah, a single mom to a tired child who needs treatment, in the movie. When Janiyah attempts to get cash for the medicine but is confronted with an enormous challenge at the bank, she ends up holding everyone in the bank captive. Sherri Shepherd, Teyana Taylor, Glynn Turman, and Sinbad are the co-stars of the turbulent, heartfelt play, which will air on June 6.
The Astroworld Tragedy: Trainwreck ( June 10 )
This month marks the return of Netflix’s Trainwreck documentary franchise, which explores some of the most sensational or disastrous news stories of the recent past. The Astroworld Tragedy: Trainwreck ( June 10 ) is the first film in the new batch, and will dig deep into the tragic Astroworld concert that left 10 fans dead after chaos ensued at Travis Scott’s 2021 performance. Seven more installments of Trainwreck will drop over the summer, one each week through July 29.
Our Times ( June 11 )
A pair of married scientists, Hector and Nora ( Benny Ibarra and Lucero ), who discover a way to time travel from 1966 to the present day, are the stars of Our Times, a Mexican sci-fi romantic comedy. When they’re in 2025, Nora flourishes in a more tolerant world, and she wants to stay, while Hector battles and longs to go back to the past. But will they ever be able to get up?
The OceanGate Hazard in Titan: The October 11th.
The Titan submarine vanished during a holiday trip to the Titanic wreckage in June 2023. The vehicle was discovered at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean days afterwards after it imploded while descending with all five of its passengers on board. Stockton Rush, the CEO of OceanGate, is the subject of Titan: The OceanGate Disaster, which examines the length he went to in the name of deep-sea inquiry while piloting the ill-fated underground goal.
K-Pop Demon Hunters ( 20 June )
What if a well-known K-Pop girl group had quietly divine beast hunting? That’s the idea of the novel animated film KPop Demon Hunters, which will be available on Netflix on June 20. Lee Cho, Joel Kim Booster, Ken Jeong, Ahn Hyo-seop, and May Hong are the voices of the home video from Sony Pictures Animation.
