The original lawsuit focused on Samsung blocking the installation of software on its wireless devices, making it harder for users to install Epic Games names like the well-known Fortnite, though Epic didn’t publish the terms of the negotiation. Epic claimed at the time that Samsung’s Car Blocker function caused it to take 21 steps to place a game.
Epic Games pointed to Tim Sweeney’s post on X in an email to CNET that read,” We’re dismissing our court case against Samsung following the parties ‘ discussions.” Samsung’s willingness to solve Epic’s questions is a blessing.
Consider it another win for Epic in its continuing legal issues, says one match market specialist even though the term weren’t disclosed.
