Taxes have been a popular theme for the past three decades, making both consumers and businesses concerned: Will they go up costs, and by how much? It’s a problem more important than ever, as President Donald Trump punts another big date down the road, delaying the biggest possible rate hikes by another couple weeks and letting more uncertainty spread.

In light of those concerns, I’ve been monitoring costs every day for 11 important products likely to be affected by tariff-induced rate rises, and the result is this: Not so much, at least not already. The winding path of price inflation still stretches before us into an uncertain potential, but the risk of rate hikes continues to cloud the sky.

I’ve seen two notable rate increases to day, one for the Xbox One and the other for a well-known 4K TV, both of which are affordable. Some different products– including Apple’s famous AirPods and printing paint– have gone on sale for short periods. &nbsp,

This will help give you a sense of the overall value shifts and swings going on. Farther down, you’ll be able to view the tables for each individual item being tracked. Based on the numbers so much, the average has gone away notably since the start of the year, but this has been driven largely be a huge shifts for a few products, as most price are also secure.

We’re checking costs regularly and will upgrade the article and the important charts straight away to reveal any changes. The most recent of the following charts, which is marked” Now,” and displays the current rate, displays a single shot point for each month. For the past weeks, we’ve gone with what was the most popular price for each piece in the given month. &nbsp,

In most cases, the cost numbers used in these maps were pulled from Amazon using the traditional price-tracker application Keepa. The prices for the iPhones are based on the 128-gigabyte base model of the most recent iPhone 16 release and are based on Apple’s standard materials. For the Xbox 360 Series X, the charges were sourced from Best Get using the device PriceTracker. If any of these goods are going to be on sale at any particular moment, we’ll be sure to let you know and discuss how these value drops may be affected by potential longer-term sales trends.

The 11 materials we’re tracking

Along with a normal bag of espresso, a more modest item that isn’t produced in the US in any significant way, we’re mostly tracking electrical devices and electronic items that CNET covers in depth, like iPhone-uri and cheap 4K TVs. &nbsp,

The items featured were chosen for a number of reasons: Some of them are well-known and/or reasonably priced representatives of major consumer tech categories, such as smartphones, TVs, and game consoles. Others are meant to represent things that consumers might buy more frequently, like printer ink or coffee beans. Some goods were chosen over others because they are likely to be more prone to tariffs. Some of these products have been reviewed by CNET or have been featured in some of our best lists.

We’ll expand on each individual product below, and stay until the end for a rundown of some other noteworthy items.

iPhone 16

Since the iPhone is the most well-known brand of smartphones in the US, price tracking was a top priority. The iPhone has also emerged as a major focal point for conversations about tariffs, given its popularity and its susceptibility to import taxes because of its overseas production, largely in China. Trump reportedly has a fixation on the notion that the iPhone can and should be produced in the US, a notion that experts have dismissed as a fantasy. Estimates have also suggested that a US-made iPhone would cost as much as$ 3, 500.

The price shown is what you’ll see if you purchase your phone from a major carrier, so there’s something to keep in mind about this graph. If you, say, buy direct from Apple or Best Buy without a carrier involved, you’ll be charged an extra$ 30, so in some places, you might see the list price of the standard iPhone 16 listed as$ 830.

Apple has been taking a few precautions to protect its prices in the face of these tariffs, including moving product in bulk shipments din China până în India and moving production for the US market from there. This item has since experienced some notable upticks on Amazon, most recently settling at around$ 450 after spending the majority of 2025 at around$ 400. This could potentially be in reaction to Trump’s announcement of 25 % tariffs against South Korea this week.

Xbox 360 Seria X
