Hint for the Lines issue today
The design for today’s Strands is:  , and how’s the kick…
If that doesn’t help, here’s a hint: Non-Americans refer to it as sports.
Explanation words to get in-game hints
Find the hidden words that go along with the game’s style. Consider any comments you can to help you if you’re stuck. When you discover three words that are four letters or more, Pieces may reveal one of the design words. These are the terms I used to find those clues, but any terms that contain four or more characters will work:
- DARE, DIRT, FRET, WARD, WORD, FEED, STRIKE, FRIED, PECK, FENDER, FEND, GOAL, KEEP, PEEK, and DARE, DIRT, FRET, FRET, WARD, WORD, WARD, WORD, WARD, WORD, KEEP, Break
Solutions to the Pieces issue from today
These are the responses that are relevant to the design. The spangram, a design word that extends from one part of the puzzle to the other, is the puzzle’s goal, which is to discover them all. Every email on the board will be used when you have all of them ( I actually believed there were eight, but I now understand that the number may vary ). Here are the non-Spangram responses:
- FORWARD, STRIKER, GOALKEEPER, DEFENDER, and MIDFIELDER are among the film’s standouts.
Today’s Pieces spangram
Today’s Pieces spangram is SOCCER. To find it, start with the S that’s five letters down on the far-left row, and wind across.
