The Intern ( June 22 )

There hasn’t been a single Nancy Meyers movie on Netflix, in some strange way up until now. The film isn’t as well-known as some of Meyers ‘ another movies, but it still manages to be a very endearing event despite the excellent cast that includes Anne Hathaway, Rene Russo, and Robert DeNiro. DeNiro portrays retired physicist Ben Whittaker, who didn’t sit still, and accepts a position as an apprentice at a clothing company run by Jules Ostin, played by Hathaway. The two type a special friendship after first dismissive of old-guy Ben as a bit of a confidante to his manager. ( And yes, Jules has a fantastic kitchen in her Brooklyn brownstone; why would you think otherwise? ) Netflix’s The Intern debuts on June 22.
