What to Stream on TV This Weekend: &#039, Ginny &amp, Georgia, &#039, &#039, Love Island USA &#039, and &#039, Stick&#039,

Summer has arrived on streaming! Kicking things off on Peacock, we’re hoping things get seriously steamy on the new season of Love Island USA, the show that screams summer fun. We’ll be tuned in when this show airs every night, anxiously awaiting the arrival of this year’s bombshells.

One of our favorite fun binges, Ginny & Georgia, has returned to Netflix with its third season, with even more drama and intrigue as Georgia, the mom of the titular mother-daughter duo, finds herself accused of murder. Also on Netflix, you can catch the latest Tyler Perry film, Straw, starring Taraji P. Henson as a mother who holds a bank full of people hostage when she’s pushed to her limit.

Also of note this week, Owen Wilson’s new sports comedy, Stick, has arrived on Apple TV Plus, and don’t forget to tune in to the 78th Annual Tony Awards this Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET — they’ll be streaming live on Paramount Plus.

Ginny & Georgia, season 3 (June 5)

A new season of the Netflix hit series Ginny & Georgia is out this week and fans will finally learn Georgia’s (Brianne Howey) fate after the season two cliffhanger that saw her getting arrested for murder at her own wedding. And just when she was trying to move on with her life! This season consists of 10 episodes, which are all out now and ready for your weekend binge.

In Tyler Perry’s newest film Straw, Taraji P. Henson plays a woman pushed to the brink. Henson stars as Janiyah, a single mother to a sick child who requires medication. When Janiyah is faced with an overwhelming obstacle at the bank while trying to get money for the medicine, she ends up taking everyone in the bank hostage. The turbulent, emotional drama co-stars Sherri Shepherd, Teyana Taylor, Glynn Turman and Sinbad and premieres on June 6.

Stick (June 4)

Owen Wilson executive produces and stars in the newest series on Apple TV Plus, Stick, a sports comedy about an ex-pro golfer who mentors a troubled teenage phenom named Santi (Peter Dager). The impressive supporting cast includes Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, Judy Greer and Timothy Olyphant, and the show features cameos from golf pros Collin Morikawa, Keegan Bradley and Max Homa. The first three episodes of the show arrived this week and new episodes will drop every Wednesday.

Predator: Killer of Killers (June 6)

Predator: Killer of Killers is a new three-part animated anthology feature now available on Hulu. The movie, which comes from Dan Trachtenberg, director of 2022’s Prey, follows the story of three warriors through history — a Viking, a ninja in feudal Japan and a WWII fighter pilot — as they evade the clutches of the beast known as the predator.

Love Island USA (June 3)

Host Ariana Madix and a group of singles head back to Fiji for a new season of the reality dating sensation Love Island USA. The Peacock show is equally addictive and exhausting (new episodes drop every day at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET during premiere week, and Thursdays through Tuesdays for five weeks thereafter), so you have plenty of chances to drop in and see who’s finding love in the villa.

78th Annual Tony Awards (June 8)

Wicked star Cynthia Erivo hosts the 2025 Tony Awards, which will air live on Paramount Plus (and CBS) this Sunday, June 8, from 8-11 p.m. ET. This year’s ceremony, broadcast from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, will feature performances from all of this year’s nominated musicals, as well as a reunion of the original Broadway cast of Hamilton who will perform in honor of the musical’s 10th anniversary on Broadway.

Phineas and Ferb, season 5 (June 6)

Just in time for summer vacation, Phineas and Ferb is back with all new adventures. Ten  episodes of season 5 dropped on Disney Plus on June 6 (one day after arriving on the Disney Channel), featuring new adventures with step-brothers Phineas, Ferb, their sister Candace and their friends. Meanwhile, their pet platypus, Perry, a.k.a. Agent P,  is secretly attempting to outsmart Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz before he can take over the Tristate area. This season’s guest actors are pretty tremendous: Keep an ear out for Michael Bublé, Alan Cumming, Anna Faris, Leslie Jones, Megan Rapinoe, John Stamos and Meghan Trainor.
