Legendary comedian Mel Brooks will turn 99 later this month, and the stoogled director also has a few surprises up his jacket, including the most recent shocking news that the typical sci-fi pastiche Spaceballs may be releasing a movie, Spaceballs 2.
You’re not only if the information makes your Schwartz tingling. The comedy legend teased a trailer that stated the long-awaited sequel is on hold and will be released in theaters in 2027.
Returning actors Bill Pullman and Rick Moranis will appear in the future movie alongside a fresh cast that includes Josh Gad and Keke Palmer. It’s described as a “non-prequel non-reboot movie part two, but with restore elements company expansion film,” which is perfectly appropriate for a film that when used branded bathroom paper as a joke.
Where can I view the first Spaceballs?
You can now watch the classic Spaceballs  online if you don’t want to delay until 2027 to visit Planet Spaceball.
The 1987 sci-fi spoof is available for your viewing pleasure on the Max streaming services, which will quickly regain the HBO Max title. In a galaxy-sized version of Star Wars, Spaceballs stars Brooks, Moranis, Pullman, John Candy, and Joan Rivers as the words of the message. There are plenty of factors to be thankful that a sequel is on the horizon because it’s the kind of homage film that isn’t very popular these days, even in the form of the ridiculous Scary Movie franchise.  ,
Owing to its quick-fire jokes, ironic characters, brilliant interpretations of well-known sci-fi, and the devotion we have for films like Star Wars, the original movie is now a cult classic. And since it’s a Mel Brooks design, you can tell it’s full of giggles.  ,
Then it’s time to get the initial Spaceballs for a spin if it’s been awhile since you last watched Lone Starr take a Winnebago through space or if you just want to hear Dark Helmet yell,” I’m your father’s friend’s nephew’s friend’s former housemate.” Or give it to someone for the first day.  ,
