I’d have to say Sony’s ULT Field 5 speech if you asked me what my favorite fresh portable Bluetooth speaker of 2025 was so far. In the past, I believed Sony’s Bluetooth listeners were good enough but no outstanding. Sony, however, has considerably improved the sound quality of its Bluetooth listeners with the ULT line.

I also like the fresh ULT Field 3 and ULT Field 5, which can either be sat diagonally or laid diagonally. With an IP67 documentation, both speakers are completely waterproof, dustproof, and rustproof. I ended up using the heavier ULT Field 5 more frequently than the lighter ULT Field 3, which also comes with a fresh retractable shoulder strap.
