Use caution when using your good swords in a scraping situation because knives are designed to reduce in just two guidelines, back and forth and not side to side. This is probably the biggest error that people make with their home weapons. It hurts more days than I can depend, and I’ve seen it before. Your knives will eventually become dull or chipped if you let them clink round in a box with different knives and metal tools. There are some very elegant options these days like this and this, but it’s understandable not to want a sloppy knife prevent on the desk.

You can also purchase plastic circumstances to hold your knives in, or in-drawer sturdy knife racks. That means no soaking always, and when you’ve finished washing it by hand, dried it right away because the material won’t rust and corrode.

5. Cut non-food items or use it as a standard tool

Although great blades may appear to be a multipurpose tool, they should only be used to prepare food. Try to avoid cutting any package that isn’t non-food, such as acrylic, cardboard, or another. And don’t even consider about using your weapon to tear open everything stuck by using it as a hammer or lever.
